Data Privacy & Security

Data is our lifeblood and a primary tool in our customer-centric work day. We take many steps to ensure the protection and integrity of the data entrusted to us by employers, their employees, carriers and vendors.

Data protection obligations are governed by our agreements with employers, brokers, carriers, and third-party service providers, as well as applicable laws and regulations.

Please read your Master Agreement, Statement of Work, Third-Party Service Provider Policy and other applicable documents carefully and note the following expectations:

  • Any person or entity doing business with us is responsible for reviewing and complying with all applicable data privacy and security policies as they may be amended from time to time. Changes to our data privacy and security policies will be communicated to you via the contact identified in our written contract or agreement with you.
  • Any person or entity doing business with us that is a Covered Entity as defined in the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (“HIPAA”), as amended by the Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health (HITECH) Act of 2009, is required to notify us of such status prior to sending us any Protected Health Information (“PHI”) as defined in HIPAA and must sign our Business Associate Agreement (“BAA”).

  • Any person or entity doing business with us must communicate all data privacy and security expectations and requirements to your employees and representatives.
