Electronic Enrollment
Through our integrated laptop and web
enrollment systems, we can clearly communicate and educate employees on their
current benefits program. In addition, your Human Resources staff is not
inundated with paper work after the enrollment. During the post enrollment
phase, EFP's tech team will integrate the data into your HRIS and payroll
systems while transmitting the coverage information to your providers. The
key to our joint success is the pre-case set up and testing.
Preparation
EFP continues to shape the way we attempt to prepare clients for an
electronic enrollment. Clearly, your internal technology staff
must be a part of the team to successfully implement an
electronic enrollment.
Below are some of the basic questions to ask your IS or IT
staff to prepare you for electronic enrollment:

which system will we pull existing benefit information? HRIS?

what format can we pull existing information out of the
system? Excel? ASCI?

what format can we put new information into the system? Excel?
